Overall, drama and comedy types of movies had been the two top af all the other genres back in the year 1996 and 2006, even their tickets sales. Comedy films had the highest amount of tickets sales in the entertainment industry. Conversely, romance genre had took the latest place over the 10 years periode in both production and tickets shares.
In terms of genres drama movies saw a noticeabe increase in their production that went from around 26 % to 35 %, while the comedy and fantasy type rose by approximately 5% which went from 20% to 25% and from 12% to 17% respectively. in contrast romance kind of films remained stable over the periode, with the lowest percentage of the amount of films that had been released in the industry.
on the other hand it comes comedy genre in the first place with the highest sales in both years, by reaching just below 25% of the shares in 2006 when it was just 20% back in 1996. Drama cames in the second place in the entertainment market, which saw a slighlty increase throughout the periode, while fantasy noticed a serious climb leading it to become the third place instead of being the latest one which went from roughly 3% to around 8%. Romance films receded to the fourth place after it declined steadly to a vary small share about 1%.
