The presented pie chart gives data on the primary social networking websites of British users between 2010 and 2018.
Overall, facebook was the most famous website among other networking apps throughout the period. While twitter saw a minor decrease, bebo, google plus, and pinterest experienced slight drop over the period.
In both 2010 and 2018, the largest portion was made up by Facebook, accounting for 46.15 % and 72.46%. In 2010, Twitter and Pinterest were at the same level, making up 18.33% and 16.35%, whilst in 2018, twitter remained relatively stable with significantly lower percentages, making up 17.39% and Pinterest halved to 7.25%.
By contrast, in 2010, Google Plus and Bebo were a relatively low figure, making up 10.42% and 8.17%. Whereas, In 2018, Google plus’s percentage declined sharply from 10.42% to 2.90%, the percentage of Bebo users disappeared from 8.17% to 0 %.
