Regarding education level, computer ownership was lowest among people without a high school diploma. In 2002, only about 15% of this group owned a computer, but the figure rose significantly to around 40% in 2010. Among high school graduates, ownership increases from roughly 35% to 65%.
For those with some college education, the percentage grew from about 55% in 2002 to 85% in 2010. Similarly, computer ownership among people with a bachelor’s degree rose from around 70% to 90%. The highest figures were recorded among postgraduates, increasing from approximately 75% to 95%.
