This line chart illustrates the number of international students registered in four Australian Universities between 2000 and 2015.
Overall, all universities experienced upward trend in international student enrollment, but university A saw the most significant increase.
At the beginning of the period, University A and B had similar numbers of international students, both around 2500. However, University A’s enrollment began to rise sharply from 2004. It reached 16000 students by 2015. Compared to University A, University B had steadily but much slower growth of speed. Increased from under 4000 students to about 9000 students between 2005 and 2015.
University C and University D had lower enrollment numbers in the first five years compared to University A and B. In the next 11 years, both the two universities witnessed a granal increase in their international students population. In 2015, University C ascended to 6000 students, while University D just had approximately 3000 students.
