Overall, the average retail prices of both gasolone and diesel follow siimilar trends through out the period. For a decade, the prices fluctuated and the gap between two lines remains stable, but the price rose sharply and the gap shorten afterward in the last two years.

For the decade started in 2010, the average retail prices of gasoline and diesel are recorded to be considerbly low points in the graph of 32 and 40 respectively. The numbers had gradually increased for three years to 46 and 54 before a fluctuation that led them touch the lowest point of the graph, which are 29 and 40, in 2016.

Although the prices soon recover to the same as 2013 in 2018, a dramatic rise followed after a quick dip turned the numbers into 73 and 79. This shows that the increase of fuel’s average retail prices is a recent event but not a long-term result.
