The line graph illustrates the comparison between three different reasons people decided to move away from big cities to the countryside in the period from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the main reason was the rising cost of living, however city traffic and lifestyle were also important factors contributing to more people relocating from urban areas to places that are closer to nature.
As the graph shows, approximately 65 000 people were concerned about the rising cost of living in 1990 with this number rocketing to 85 000 in 2000. Then, it declined gradually to 80 000 in 2010.
Regarding traffic issues, only around 20 000 and 35 000 people were affected by it in the years 1990 and 2000, respectively. After that the figure increased sharply to 60 000 people in 2010. Furthermore, the number of people with agitation around lifestyle rose steadily over the course of 20 years with no fluctuations.
