Overall, the most considerable change was made by espresso which started with the lowest rate and experienced a sharp growth to the highest point. Meanwhile, both instant and groung types of coffee showed gradual decrease throughout the period.
The consumption of espresso in January was less than 10,000 units before slowly rising in February and reaching around 12,000 in April. The growth continued by improving to 20,000 units between May and July. After, the most dramatic increase occured in September when numbers reached 40,000 and in October growed to almost 58,000, eventually ending with 70,000 units.
Instant coffee, which accounted for approximately 60,000 in January, experienced a gradual decline by 10,000 in April, then made up for 40,000 in July. The decrease continued and at the end of the period presented around 30,000 units in December. At the same time, ground coffee’s rate was 38,000 and remained constant throughout three month. The numbers dropped slowly by around 2,000 between April and July. Then, there was a sharp decline to 30,000 in September and the consumption of ground coffee made up for 20,000 units in December.
