Overall, website and TV witnessed mild changes while print and social media fluctuated wildly.
Website remained the most chosen news resource throughout the given period. In 2012, about 78% of people used website to access news and the figure rose slightly to approximately 82%. Meanwhile, there was about 75% of people using TV in 2012 as their news resource, however, from 2013, the number dropped to around 71% in 2015.
The number of people who accessed news through print and social media stayed below 60% throughout the timespan. Print underwent a steep increase and reached its peak in 2013 (with 50% of people). However, it began to plunge dramatically throughout the next two years and remained about 25% of people. Social media on the other hand was chosen the least with only 20% of people in 2012, but it continued to surge to 40% in 2015.
