We have a line graph that illustrates the percentage of tourists who visited four attractions in a city: a museum, an art gallery, a zoo, and a botanical garden from 1990 to 2020.
From the line graph, we can see that between 1990 and 2005, museum visitors increased from 20% to 40%. However, after 2005, the percentage decreased from 40% to 30%. The museum had the highest number of visitors in 2000 and the lowest in both 1990 and 2020. Although the visitor numbers in 1990-1995 were not as low as in those years, the decline in visitors from 2005 to 2020 warrants further study.
Regarding the art gallery, visitor numbers increased from 30% to 40% between 1990 and 2000. Although this increase was not as significant as that of the museum, the visitor percentage has steadily decreased to 30% in 2020, mirroring the figure from 1990. In 2005, the art gallery had the highest number of visitors compared to all the attractions during 1990-2020, while it recorded the fewest visitors in 1990.
In contrast, the zoo experienced a notable increase in visitor percentages each year. In 1990, only 15% of visitors went to the zoo, but by 2020, this figure rose to over 30%. This trend indicates that more people have been showing interest in visiting the zoo over the years.
Similarly, the botanical garden also saw a rise in visitor percentages each year. In 1990, it attracted 10% of visitors, which grew to 25% by 2020. From the line graph, it’s evident that the botanical garden and the zoo have experienced a more stable increase in visitor numbers each year compared to the museum and the art gallery.
