The line graph compares the proportions of citizens used the internet in three different countries from 1999 to 2009.
Overall, all the given countries experienced an upward trend in using the internet among citizens. However, there were slight discrepancies when we looked at the specific figures in USA and Canada.
At the beginning, the internet user rate was the highest in USA, accounting for around 20%, while that of Canada started nearly 10% of the online users, and the Mexicans used internet only about 5%. By contrast, the Canadian people used internet substantially, as a result, they surpassed the American in 2002, at nearly 50% of population. Canada reached a high of approximately 100% at the end of the period, followed by USA, at below 90% of online users.
According to the graph, we can clearly see that the population who have used the internet increased gradually in Mexico through out the years. Despite the growth, it levelled off as the least online users among all, with below 40% of the population.
