Overall, public transport use was much higher among large city residents in most age groups, while the figures for other residents remained relatively low and stable.
In details, about 38% of city residents aged 0-15 used public transport. This figure rose steadily around 55% for the group aged between 16-30 and reached peak of approximately 68% for middle age people’s. which was the highest amongs the all ages. After that, figures declined at 42% for the public aged 46-60 and it felt dramatically under 10% in the 61-75 group, before slightly increasing in the oldest category.
By contrast, the percentage of other residents were much lower. started with younger generation 0-15 was around 15%, the figures climbed around 25% for ages 16-30, then fluctuated between aged group 31-60 was 14% to 16%, while senior citizens figure was only 6% aged 76.
