The line graph shows the proportion of Iranian, Greece and Turkish students who got into the Sheffield University from 2005 to 2009. Overall the figure for Greek students who enrolled to Sheffield university declined over the period, while the proportions for Turkey and Iran increased. In the beginning of the period Greece had a largest proportion however the figure for Iran surpassed it over the period.

In 2005 the students from the Greece had the largest figure at just under 180 students. However this figure experienced a significant drop in 2007 at 70 students and remained unchanged until 2008. At the end of the period it declined slightly to about 43 students and showed the lowest proportion among three countries.

The reverse was seen in remaining countries. The sharpest increase was seen in the number of Iranian students from about 40 students in 2005 to 160 students in the end of the period and illustrated the highest figure. The figure for Turkish students who enrolled to Sheffield University went up significantly starting from almost 20 students to 120 students in 2009
