The given line graph provides data about the percentage of student from various nations – Iranian, Greek,and Turkish – who registered at Sheffield University starting from 2005 until 2009.
Overall, it is interesting to note that there was a noticeable increase in the quantity of Turkish students who have enrolled at university as well as Iranian pupils whose number went from the least popular to being dominant. Meanwhile,number of Greek students has experienced sharply decreased.
Initially, number of enrollees from Turkey was at only 20 , until it rose gradually to just above 80. In the subsequent year this figure continued growing steadily and had reached 120 pupils by 2009 . Additionally,even though Iranian scholars started at the lowest point, around 40, in the beginning of the period,there has been dramatic increase to 160 students which was 4 times greater than the initial figure. Eventually,pupils from Iran have surpassed all nations and maintained dominance.
By contrast,in the quantity of Greece students was significant decline. This figure commenced from 180 and had plummeted by nearly 100 by 2007. Subsequently, there were not any changes and remained steady within 1-year period. After that, declined marginally to approximately 50 in the final period.
