The line graph indicates the data about the number of packages transported through two main mail enterprises in a 80-year period, commencing from 1920.
Overall, as is clear from the given graph, although TNT was the least utilized mail company for parcel delivery at the beginning, its figures had undergone a constant escalation throughout the period studied. FedEx, interestingly, experienced fluctuations over the span, albeit was the popular one at first.
As for FedEx, a fluctuation was obvious. The number of percels transported by this company was 15000 in 1920; however, it increased abruptly, achieving just under 20000 in 1940. Strikingly, the figures of that company had nose-dived and showed roughly 13000 in 1950. Furthermore, there was a subtle depletion, reached about 12000 in 1960. Ultimately, the figures of FedEx increased sequentially and depicted approxmately 17.000 at the end.
Regarding the details of another counterpart and a rival of FedEx – TNT, a gradual growth was obvious for this company. At first, this was the least used company in 1920, the number was just over 5000. Yet, figures experienced a sequential rise that showed about 11000 in 1960, which is almost the same with FedEx figures (12000) in the following year. In 1980, despite the fact that the number was just over 10000, it had increased suddenly by reaching its peak ( roughly 25000) in 2000.
