The line graph illustrates the world oil production in the Middle east, Africa, North America, and Asia from 1960 to 2000.

Overall, Africa showed fluctuation in the barrels’ production during the specifies period, while the rest of the countries had an upward trend whith the Middle East reaching the highest point by the end of the period.

Oil production in The Middle East, North America, and Asia rose steadily from 1960 to around 1980 starting at 20 millions barrels, around 15 barrels and five barrels receptively. After 1980, all three countries continued to climb moderately until 1990 where the Middle East surge to its peak at around 70 millions barrels production.

Africa, on the other hand, started at around 15 millions in 1960 reaching 30 millions barrels by 1970 before dropping steeply to almost 22 millions in 1980. It then skyrocketed to about 35 millions in 1990, and 40 millions in the next decade.
