The line chart below provides information about the reproduction number of cows across four different places in Connecticut from 2000 to 2014. Overall, all surveyed places had their cow increased in a significant quantity, except for Guernsey as its dramatic plunge in the second half. Additionally, Jersey remained the most productive farmland over the period shown.
The number of cows in three breeds Jersey, Angus, and Holstein showed the productivity of their breeding skill. Starting roughly from 400 and 1500 in the year 2000, the cow estimations of Holstein and Angus saw a slight increase then ended the period with 1500 and 2200, respectively. That of Jersey experienced a similar trend, accounting for around 4000 cows in the year 2000 and eventually peaked at 5000 cows in 2014, making it the highest figure over the graph.
Regarding Guernsey, the number of cows almost unchanged until a dramatic drop in 2010. Specifically, in 2000, there were approximately 3500 cows in Guernsey. This figure stayed stable for 10 years before decreased significantly to 500 in 2012, eventually continue to incline to 100 in 2014.
