The line graph highlights statistical trends on the amount of revenue of DVD sales and video streaming services which was given annually over a ten year period between 2010 and 2019.
In general, what stands out from the graph is that, although total DVD revenue was the highest at the beginning, it reached the lowest point at the end of the period. Another interesting point is that the total video streaming revenue was the highest at the end, but it was the lowest at the start. The revenues were equal in 2014.
If we look at the amount of revenue earned by DVDs, it was around 16,000$ million in 2010 then, it decreased sharply to just over 9,000$ million in 2014. With a slight fall, it reached around 5,000$ million in 2018, and there was no change in 2019.
With respect to the revenue of total video streaming, it slightly rose from just over 4,000$ million to just under 11,000$ million between 2010 and 2016. Subsequently, the revenue increased sharply at the end of the years between 2017 and 2019, from just under 11,000$ million to the peak. In addition, trends were met in 2014 at that time DVD sales was higher than video streaming with just over 1,000$ million.
