The line graph portrays and contrasts the number of Chinese and New Zealand visitors to Australia between 1990 and 2019.
Generally, the numbers of both Chinese and New Zealand visitors increased over the period of time. The number of tourists from New Zealand was by far leading Chinese tourists until, during the last years, the amount of Chinese tourists rose like a rocket, leading New Zealand by a tiny amount.
To begin with, the Chinese start off with a deficient amount of tourists. They gradually climbed as some time had passed by. What is interesting here is, in the year 2011, the quantity of Chinese travelers hit a trend which significantly exceeded and reached its peak in 2019. One reason for this could be related to leisure or taking a break from overwhelming work.
On the other hand, the number of New Zealand visitors doubled in the early years of the millennium. The numbers continued to go up steadily and fluctuated between 2001 and 2004. The quantity of visitors steadily increased again before they became led by Chinese in the final years.
