The line graph illustrates the number of passengers using a Paris Metro station at different times of the day, from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Overall, it is evident that the number of passengers fluctuated throughout the day, whereas the busiest periods were in the morning and early evening rush hours. Additionally, the lowest usage occurred in the mid-afternoon.
At the start of the period, the number of passengers stood at around 100 at 6:00 am, before rising sharply to reach a peak of about 400 by 8:00 am. A similar pattern was observed later in the day, when the figure increased again from the late afternoon to another peak close to 400 at around 6:00 pm.
By contrast, between the morning and evening peaks, the figure showed considerable fluctuation. After the first peak, it dropped steadily to around 300 at late morning, then declined further to roughly 80 by 4:00 pm. Notably, this was the lowest point of the day. This was followed by a gradual increase into the evening rush hour, after which the number of passengers tapered off towards the end of the period.
