In 1960 the rates at wich women were smoking was almost a 100. After 5 years it increased to 200, it then stayed the same for five more years. Then it rose very rapidly till it was about 400 in 1975. It remained the same till 1985, when it started to decrease in a linear pattern for the next 15 years. So in that then in the 2000 it was back at 200.
Men on the other hand started of at 600 rates of smoking in 1960. Afterwards it kept going down rapidly. So after 40 years of rapid falling it became two times smaller than it original number in the 200 making it 300 rates of smokers.
