Overall, in 1998, Ford and General motor used nearly the double of hours to produce vehicles however, the time recquire for each manufactory fell for everyone to reach theirs minimum in 2005. While the ford’s and general motor’s time production dropped significantely throughout the given period, it reamins approximately steady for Toyota and Honda.
From 1998 to 2001, general motor reducted his amount of production time from 32 hours to aroud 27 in 2001 when it increased for Ford to a peak in the same year. On the remaining time, the duration gradually decrease to around 22 hours in 2005.
Honda and Toyota used the same amount of time in 1998 but Toyota increased its production time for around 1 hour when Honda decided to reduce to almost 2 hours one year later. After that, they rose to the same peak of 24 hours in 2002 afterwards they decreased for the remained time to around 20 hours.
