The line graph illustrates the proportion of people getting news though four platforms: TV, radio, newspaper, and internet from 1995 to 2025.
Overall, there were considerable declines in the access of news from TV, radio, and newspaper, whereas internet saw a dramatical rise over the period.
Looking at the details, TV was the most popular source of information with almost 70% in 1995. However, by 2025 its percentage of users dropped by about 10%. Despite flactuating over the period, the figure countinued being the most used tool until 2025. In contrast, the internet accounted for 0% in the begginning, this being the lowest proportion amoung four sources. Subsequently, there was a marginal growth from 0% to about 42% in 2002. Later, the internet experienced significant increase by almost 24% in 2010 and continued growing by approximentaly 55% by 2025.
As for radio, and news papers, both had a similiar pattern at about 52%, and 57%, respectivty in 1995. Interesingly, between 2002 and 2010 they had almost the same precentages. These figures then declined steadily over the period, finishing with almost around 22% for radio and 30% for newspaper in 2025.
