The data illustrates propotion of some operating systems in Europe among office work company from 2000 to 2018.
Overall, it is clearly seen that population of systems like MacOS, Linux OS and Smartphone OS became more widely accessed in a European company, while the propotion of users of Windows OS were started experiencing a slight decrease. In addition, workers who rely on Raspberry PI OS almost remained stable throughout the period.
In 2000, Windows OS was by far mosr common option, with about 42 % users in a European company. By comparison, only about 12% prefered MacOS, while almost 3% and 4% followed the systems such as Linux OS, Raspberry PI OS. Over the following 4 years, Smartphone OS actually remained stable with 0%, while Windows OS declined considerably to almost 35%. Furthermore, Raspberry PI OS and Linux OS experienced a slight increase with about, but at the same time MacOS almost jumped twofold and reached about 25% in 2004.
From 2008 onwards, Windows OS was lost leader position and showed a tendency to fluctuate with almost 25%, while Raspberry PI OS showed a strong stable with around 2% in 2010. Meanwhile, MacOS reached it is peak at 2010 with about 35% and became most popular system among office workers, also stayed at the same position other 8 years. In addition, Linux OS experienced a substanital increase and reached it is peak at 2018 with around 22%. Surprisingly, from 2006 to 2018 Smartphone OS became the second most common choise. It continued to incrase significantly and stable until 2018 with roughly 30%.
