A glance at the line graph illustrates data about different types of energy used in USA between 1980 and 2030.
Looking from an overall perspective it is clearly seen that, consumption of geothermal, solar and wind as well as petrol and oil increased significantly over the period while usage of nuclear energy decreased in United States.
Turning to details, units of geothermal energy increased steady and fast rather than others. In 1970, usage of this category was 3 billion units after that it increased significantly without any fluctuations and declines until the end of the trend. Besides, number of energy which was extracted by solar and wind was the lowest trend in 1970 but after this period category increased dramatically until 1980, but after that trend experienced minor drop in 1990 from roughly 3billion units to approximately 2.8 billion units. However, in the next 20 years it incresed until 6 billion units. At the end of the year, ther was slight drop but suddenly surged to 13 billion units and reached its peak.
In contrast, one of the most used energy was petrol and oil. Consumption of oil and petrol increased until 1990 to 15 billion units while that period consumption of nuclear energy decreased steadily. In 1990, number of used oil and petrol increased until the end of the period to 19 billion units without any alters. While, after 2000 there was dramatic fall in the number of nuclear energy from 4 billion units to sharp 3
