The line graph compares the data on the average visitor numbers in a museum in summer and winter in the year 2003.
Overall, visits to the museum during summer are more than twice than they are in winter. Additionally, visits stop much earlier in winter compared to summer.
The Museum gets most visitors in summer, with around 200 visitors entering the museum in the opening hour at 8 am. This peaks at a little above 1500 visitors at midday. Then the number of visitors starts to decline steeply, up until the closing hour, at 5 pm.
Far fewer visits to the museum are reported in winter, with most entries occurring at 10 am to 12 pm. Although, at the earlier hours of the day, the number of entries is close to that of summer, it only peaks at just below 600 at 11 am. The number falls steeply after midday, and no entries are recorded from 2 hour ahead of the closing time.
