The line graph depicts the comparison of the average number of visitors to a specific museum in the United Kingdom during summer and winter in 2003.
Overall, the total number of visitors fluctuates throughtout the day in winter and summer. Also, the graph displays a notorious difference between each season, as the frequency of visitors during summer easily exceed the figures presented in winter.
Concerning the variation within a day of a specific season, in both cases, despite a dramatic increase of attendace during the first 3 hours of availability, the number of visitors starts to decrease significantly from 12:00 until the closure of the venue.
Simultaneously, the data clearly demonstrate a preference for summer, given that figures during that season can almost duplicate the ones witnessed during winter. For example, during warmer days at 11:00, there are 600 visitors on average. In constrast, when the temperature drops, at the same hour the museum presents more the 1200 visitors.
