The figure illustrates how many people graduated and became engineers, teachers, journalists and MBA in the given 30 years.
Overall, the figure for teachers and journalists declined while those for others increased. Moreover, teachers were the most popular professions in the beginning, but in the end, MBA became the most viral.
Considering teachers and journalists, in 1980, their initial figures stood at 800 and 300 thousand people, respectively. In the first decade, both figures halved before they started to decrease slower. By the end, their values stood at around 50-100 thousand graduates.
When it comes to engineers and MBA, they opened the period with nearly 400 and 250 thousand people, correspondlngly. Over the next two decades, the figure for MBA, as well as that for engineers, grew substantially and reached 1000 and 1500 thousand candidates, in respective order. However, between 2000 and 2010, the count of people becoming engineers stagnated, while that of people starting their MBA steeply rose to reach 2500 workers in the end.
