The given graph compares the total number of individuals who visited a museum in the UK in two different seasons, namely summer and winter in 2023.
Overall, while there was an upward trend in the number of visitors in the first 4 hours, the overall number of visitors experienced a downward trend in the remaining time in both seasons in 2023. In addition, the museum was less crowded but closed sooner in the winter than in the summer.
In the summer, the number of visitors soared from 9 am to 12 am and reached the peak at about nearly 1500 in the middle of the day. In contrast, the average number of individuals who entered the museum just increased significantly from 9 am to 10 am and then fluctuated around 600 by 12 am in the winter.
From 12:00 to nearly 14:30, the overall number of people who visited the museum declined sharply to about 900 in the summer. The figure continued decreasing gradually in the next hour and then went down significantly till the closed time of the day at 6 pm. In contrast, the figure for visitors in the winter shrunk significantly from the middle of the day till they closed the museum. In addition, the museum closed at 3 pm, 3 hours sooner than that in the winter.
