Although there were fluctuations, overall the total of first-time visitors and returning visitors experienced an upward trajectory, albeit with varying levels of growth. Of particular note is returning visitors, which saw a continual rise, taking the lead by the conclusion of the year.
In 2000, the number of people who visited the destination for the first time was approximately 8,000 people. Despite an initial dip to just 4,000 people in 2002, it then rebounded and followed a rising pattern over the years, settling a high of 12,000 visitors by the end of the year.
In contrast, the number of first-timers followed a distinct rising trend. Having initially lagged behind the returning visitors,it witnessed a steady growth, surpassing them by the year 2002. From this point onwards, the first-time visitors continued to rise again, exceeding all previous rates and reaching a pinnacle of 50,000 in 2000. However, by the end of the year, the total of first-time visitors decreased, settling at approximately 30,000 people.
