Overall, there was an increase in the proportion of communication services used, with cellular phone service witnessing the most dramatic rise. In addition, the figure for mobile broadband had the lowest figure since 2004 to the end of the period.
The number of users in Cellular phone started at about 500 people in 1998, after which it experienced a significant rose to nearly 7000 people in 2008. Similarly, a gradual growth was seen in the number of Internet service users from under 500 users in 1998 to over 2000 users in 2008.
The figure for Landline communication service users slightly increased from about 1500 to just over 1500 users at the beginning of the period, but later droped in the last year of the period. Meanwhile, people choosing Mobile bandboard and Fix bandboard stay remained until 2004 they experienced a slight increase before ending their period at about 500 users.
