The line graph illustrates the number of visitors in three different nations, namely Australia, the USA, and Japan, from 2010 to 2020.
It is clear that the figures for the USA and Japan showed fluctuations over the period, while Australia showed a slight increase. Additionally, the USA had the highest number of tourists compared with the number of Australian tourists.
Taking a look at the USA and Japan, the statistics started at about 16 and 10 million respectively. The USA rapidly rose to 25 million in the year 2016, while Japan remained stable for two years before rocketing and overtaking the USA in 2017. Meanwhile, after 6 to 7 years from the beginning, the figures for both countries significantly fell to approximately 16 million.
In contrast, Australia attracted the least visitors, reaching the bottom of the data with a negligible figure. Beginning at 7 million, this country experienced a sustainable increase from 2010 over a 10-year period, reaching 15 million at the end.
