Overall, it is clear that landline service was the most popular method at the start of the period, but it was overtaken by cellular phones and the internet, which saw a dramatic increase in usage. In addition, both types of broadband remained much less common at the end of the period
Moving to the details in 1998 landline services were used by the most majority of people around 15%. However this figure fell steadily and finish around 13% at the end of the period. Meanwhile the cellur phone and internet services began at very low levels, below 10%, but then rose sharply, celluar phone overtook landlines around 2004 and reached almost 70% by 2008. Similarly, internet usage grew slightly, reaching about 20% at the end of the period.
Regarding two broadband services, both fixed and mobile started from almost zero in 1998. while fixed broadband experienced with slow but consistent growth, reaching to nearly 5% in 2008. Mobile broadband, although it remained the least popular service, showed a noticeable increase in the final two years, rising to approximately 4%.
