The line graph illustrates the amount of fish and meat consumed in a European country between 1979 and 2004.
Overall, it is obvious that there was an upward trend in the consumption of chicken while the opposite trend was true for fish, lamb, and beef. Additionally, the figure for fish was lowest during the period given.
In the first year of period, in1979, the amount of beef consumed was about 210 grams per person per week, which was higher than that of chicken, at under 150 grams/person/week. The former fluctuated between 180 and 230 grams/person/week before decreasing enormously to 100 grams/person/week in 2004. In contrast to the former, the latter witnessed a dramatic growth to 250 grams/person/week in the same year.
The data on Lamb decreased remarkably from 150 grams/person/week in 1979 to nearly 50 grams/person/week in 2004. During the same period, the figure for fish fluctuated between 57 and 50 grams/person/week.
