Overall, it can be clearly observed that the number of students registered in all universities were experienced an upward trend. Similarly, students who enrolled in Liverpool had surged significantly from 2015 to 2019.
Starting in 2005, at over 49,000 students, the number of students enrolled in London was the highest among all universities, followed by Manchester, Liverpool, and Edinburgh at 25,000, 16,000, and 13,000 students, respectively. However, while others university continued rose, the figure of Edinburgh decreased dramatically to approximately at 5,000 students in 2009.
From 2009 onwards, the number of students registered in London continued increase and reached its peak at 64,000 students in 2019. Likewise, that of Liverpool skyrocket significantly by 38,000 in 2019 compared to 2015. It is interesting to note that aQer reaching the lowest point, Edinburgh grew drastically and finished at 21,000 students by the end of the given period.
