The map shows the major changes of the village of Ryemouth between 1995 and present.

Overall, the village has become much more urbanized. The nature has been transform entertainment.

As for the northern part of village, the farmland has been removed while the houses has been remain unchanged.

As regards the southern part of the village, this area changed significantly. In 1995 there used to be the fish market, however, it has been replaced by apartments. In addition, the fishing port has been pulled down.

Regarding the western and eastern sections of village are undergo a major transformation. In the western area shop has been made into restaurant. Meanwhile, eastern area the forest park has been cut down, while the hotel remain unchanged.
