The maps compare changes in Porth Harbour in 2000 and the present. Overall, the area was slightly developed during over the period shown, while some areas remained unchanged and other facilities were added .

In detail, the disused Castle, located in the south east corner of area, was converted into a Hotel. Meanwhile, the public beach, situated near the hotel, became private. A small road branches off from the existing road, providing access to the hotel. In addition, Cafes and shops have been constructed next to Lifeboat.

Turning to the north part of harbour, the location of path leads to car park situated further below was connected with main road. Above that car park , new showers and toilets were built. Also, Marina private yachts and fishing boats swapped places between 2000 and the present. As for the north part of area, the number of docks increased. Some areas remained the same, the public beach lies in the north east corner and passenger ferries consistently unchanged
