The map illlustrates development of the village of Ruemouth from 1995 to present. It compares different areas of developmen like housing, agriculture and infrastructure.
In 1995, villagers in Ruemouth embraced farming and fishing as compared to the present villagers. The number of settlements have risen as the population increased over the years. This is evident due to increase in number of housing. Different sports and culture have been adopted over the years. Roads have been developed especially near housing in the present in comparison to 1995.
In the northwest of the village, housing has increased especially along the road in the present unlike in 1995. Farming was a main activity in the north east part of the village in 1995 but this has been replaced by golfing and tennis playing in the present. There is also evidence of deforestation as the forset park in 1995 is completely eradicated in the present. A part of it is actually used in the construction of the tennis court. The hotel in the southeast of the map is developed to incorporate a carpark in the present.
Shops in 1995 are renovated to restaurants in the present. The fish market in the southwest of the map is eradicated and in place apartments are put up. The fishing port is completely removed in the present as fishing activity has declined significantly. A road is constructed near the housing in the west part of the map in the present. This supports the increase in infrastructure in the present in comparison to 1995.
