The map illustrates the village of Ryemouth in 1995 and the present.

Overall, the developed village has more buildings and places for sports, while most transportation routes stayed the same.

In 1995, the village was located to the north of a sea with a fishing port located above the sea. Next to the port was a fish market and a cafe, laid along the coast line. Paralel to the sea, a road was constructed and was connected to another path which headed towards the north west. Across the road, further away from the sea was shops and a hotel, planted opposite the market and the cafe respectively. Futher into the village, houses were arranged aside the road. To the east of the housing was a forest park and a farmland.

In the present, the road way further expanded to the west to contain the newly built homes. While the fishing fort was demolished, the fish market was replaced into apartments and the shop was turned into a restaurant. Additionally, the farmland and forest was changed into a golfand tennis court and a car park was introduced next to the hotel.
