The map show the south wing of Walton Museum in 2008 and redeveloped version in 2012. Overall, there were a lot of big changes like, there was lift instead of stairs and relatively more rooms in the far end of the building.
In 2008, there was an open entrance after path , near the special exhibition room . Entrance lead us to reception where you can have an access to shop. Also there were stairs in the first floor which helped you to climb to reading room , or just enter cloacks room from here.
In 2012, there were dramatic changes. The plan shows us that in this year it also started with path that that lead to bigger building. There we can see that they add terrace near the entrance and close the entrace because of this. In the second block , there was a new space for restaurent in the third floor which was also uploaded fro 2012 plan. In the second floor they mixed cloack room and reception, which took single place in the 2008. Most of the changes were in the third block. There was lift instead of satairs and two more floors. Instead of cloack rooms there was children play area in 2012. Exhibition room and self-service rooms are new , and were not constructed in 2008. Finally, there was roof in 2012 , which was not in 2008 plan.
