The maps depict the transformation of a coastal land before and after some infrastructure developments to become a coastal park.
Overall, after development, the coastal park has been upgraded with several facilities, in front of the cliff. These renovations reflect an effort to create a more functional and welcoming recreational environment in the coastal area.
There have been several significant changes from before to after development. Most notably, farm buildings, which used to be in the heart of the coastal land, have undergone conversion into a car park to store many tourist transports. The transformation of the agricultural land in the east into woods has also been recorded. Additionally, the unused land and animals’ shelters that were situated in the west of the coastal land have been demolished, making space for development and becoming a lake.
As for the changes of less significance, a footpath was built from the west to the east, surrounding a new lake on the west and woods on the east. Furthermore, a cafe has been established, and trees were grown around a lake and woods, offering visitors a relaxing space with a beautiful view. Steps have now been added to the cliff in the front to allow more visitors to the beach. Meanwhile, the road and the sea remain unchanged, ensuring accessibility to the area while preserving the area’s natural coastal features.
