The maps compares show the beachfront area between 1950 and the present day.
Overall, it appears that todays beach front is more comfortable and developed with far more changes than it was in 1950. In addition, the beach has become noticeably larger than it was in1950.
One interesting change is that the play ground that was in the northwest part was rebuilt into a car park next to the road. The restaurant and club that was in the lower left corner was destroyed and then a swimming pool was built. The dining tables that were located in the center remained untouched as the pavilion.
In terms of the right side of the map, there have been some changese. The car park in 1950 was smaller than it is today. As for the bottom corner, a surf club was built instead of a swimming pool. However, the light house did not change. Another interesting change is that new road was built which connecting the upper part with the lower one.
