The two maps depict a beachfront area in Australia in 1950 and how it looks at present.

Overall, the layout underwent significant changes. While several facilites were introduced to the area, pool and main rood expanded, with playing ground area being replaced.

In 1950, there was the main road that led to western city from a car park. To the south was a place for people to entertain in which there were playground, dining tables, along with a big pavilion, adjacent to the car park. There lies a large beach to the further south, as well as 25m pools on each west and east side. A lighthouse located next to the east pool

By today, the playgroud had been replaced by a new car park, while the road to city had been enlarged, starting from the lighthouse to the city. Furthermore, two surf clubs were added close to the pool, which also doubled in size from 25m to 50m. Adjacent to the western surfing club, a new restaurant was built, while the eastern car park, the pavilion, the lighouse, the beach and dining tables remained untouched.
