The two maps illustrates how a rural town have developed from 1983 to the present.
Overall, major transformations can be seen in the rural town. There have been significant changes in infrastructure, housing and facilities over the period given.
In 1983, there was forest in the western area and farm on the eastern side. Now, forest was cutt and farm was demolished and turned into petrol station and cafe. While previously there was forest, now there are a lot of new houses and also the road was extended next to the housing. In addition, the small shop was modernized to the big supermarket.
The school, police station, post office and windmill were not changed. The dam was newly constructed in the empty place to the north of river may.
