Two plans demonstrate how a rural town has developed over forty-two years.
Overall, the town has shifted from a predominantly rural to an urbanized region. The key changes include the expansion of housing, the introduction of new amenities, and the complete elimination of a woods and agriculture activities.
In 1983, the northwest section was dominated by forest and while the western has a dwelling area. A main road from the west to the east of the town bisecting these two area, forming a Y-junction named Munster road in the southeast. The eastern side of the town used to feature a shop and farm near the three-way road. A school, police station and post office were situated alongside the Main road and river May although they are located on opposite side. At the southern end of this town, there was a windmill in an extensive area.
In the present, the residential area has expanded with more houses, with a new road leading to the north outside the town. The shop and the farm have been converted into a supermarket and petrol station respectively. Moreover, a dam has been erected in the northern headwaters of a river, while a new café has been set up beside the petrol station lining the road. There has been remained unchanged in the school, police station, post office and windmill.
