The map shows the transformation of Castellon city in Spain over a period of time. Overall, the place has become more modern with the introduction of many new buildings and changes. Notable addition also included a university with its change that was not significant.
Prior to the developments, Castellon had a simple appearance in 2000. The city center, located in the middle of the map, was completely empty. A university was located above the picture with the trees in the top right corner. There was a train station where located to the left, between the city center and the university with the old market situated below it. Back then, there was a road for vehicles between the city center and the port.
Following the improvements, the city now offers more facilities for its population. Most of the trees have been cut down to make a new shopping center at the top right corner. The train station has been modernized to a new one, and a police station has been constructed nearby. Additionally, an airport is under construction to improve the city’s connectivity. The introduction of a bike rental scheme and pedestrian-only areas in the city center. A cinema and various bars and clubs have also been added near the port, along with a covered market. One final change is that a hall of residence has been established near the university, likely due to the growing number of students.
