The two maps below illustrate the main changes which was in the Spanish city of Castellon between the year 2000 and today.
Overall, what stands out from the maps is that in 2000 the town was empty if we compare it to Castellon which is today. In a word Castellon has become a more modern city with a lot of buildings and entertainments.
If we look at the old city, it was more green city, however after many years, now the city is crowded with buildings. There used to be the trees in north east of the city, but it has been replaced by a new shopping centre. Besides, the old marked has been reconstructed into new shop. One interesting fact is that the train station has been turned into the police station. And the new train station has been built next to the police station. Furthermore, the road which was for cars, now has been pedestrianized.
In addition, next to the beach has built a lot of entertainment. Such as new cinema, bard and clubs. What’s more firstly the city centre used to be empty, but now there has been built place to rent the bikes. And in east of the town has been updated with new covered market and airport.
