The pictures illustrate Castellon, a city in Spain. The first picture shows Castellon in the year 2000, while the second picture shows the city nowadays.

Castellon nowadays is far more cramped and crowded compared to how it was 25 years ago. Some momentual sites, like the university and the city centre, didn’t move nor be removed. But other places like the market and the train station were moved to another place. Castellon nowadays also has no green area, while in 2000 there used to be more trees and green sceenery.

In 2000, alongside the port, there used to be no buildings whatsoever, only traffics that were further than the buildings standing today beside the port. Those new buildings are the cinema, some bars, and clubs. Although the pathway near the port hasn’t been removed, now it is reserved only for pedestrians.

Now, with more buildings surrounding the city centre, improved mobilization was needed. Hence, in the city centre, citizens can rent bikes to go around with. Around the city centre, now there are several sites, such as the new train station, the new market, a shop, a police station, and an airport. While beside the university there are the hall of residence and the shopping centre.

Beside its location, the train station was renovated into a more fitting structure and design for this decade’s achitechture. The same goes for the new market.
