The two illustrastions demonstrates Huntingdon in the present time and predicted changes that will take place in the future.
Overall, it is clear that the main changes will be with transport infrastructure, more roads will be constructed and the city is going to be more industrial. Notably, a new roundabout is going to be constructed, connecting Brampton road with other roads. However, built up area will remain unchanged in the future.
In the present day, Huntingdon has only three main roads connecting airfield, railway station, and town center. The railway has only one direction transporting people out of the city, moreover, brampton road is connected with the main road that is located in the western side of the map, and leads to the rail station and to the road surrounding the town center.
However, in the predicted map, airfield will be replaced by an industrial estate. Furthermore, the railway track will be widened to transport passengers from and to the industrial estate, similarly, roads will be widened and expanded. Moreover, a new roundabout will be constructed to supplant the long road connecting the west and east of huntingdon. Brampton road will no longer be connected to the main road.
