Overall, the area is expected to undergo significant alterations, with most modifications being done to infrastructure of roads.
At present, the town center is encircled by ring road, being separated from built-up area, where residential and commercial buildings are situated. The ring road is adjacent to A1 road on the west with Brampton road, below which railway station is located. Airfield is on the north side and can be accessed via A1 road from which A14 road runs from west to east across the map. Moreover, the railway trail is heading from south to north-east
In future the area is planned to improve its traffic infrastructures. The circled road around town center is expected to remain unchanged, though it will be linked to A1 road with A14 road from the south, which is anticipated to be shortened in the coming years. Furthermore, a roundabout will be added in the middle of Brampton road, connecting A1 and Town center. The Airfield on the north side is going to be transformed into Industrial estate. Lastly, the railway trail will remain almost unchanged, except it is planned to go through Industrial estate in the future.
