The given maps demonstrate how Riverage College has been transformed over the period of 30 years.
At first glance, it is clear that the college has experienced major changes. Several facilities have replaced or updated. While the sport hall, terrace , library and resection have remained unchanged, many other areas have been redesigned to provide more modern and specialised rooms.
Thirty years ago, the sport hall was located on the western side of the campus beside a small flower area and a terrace. At present, the flower area has been removed and replaced by steps, while the sport hall remains in the same place. In the centre of the college, there was a library with a refectory above it and a common room below. They have been turned into a café. To the east of this area, there were four offices and a reception, however now only one office is located above the library. Reception have remained at the same position.
Moreover, some clear changes can be seen. Initially, a large car park was situated on the far eastern side of the site. The most noticeable change is that the car park has been removed and replaced with a green area with trees. The previous office block has been transformed into an art classroom and a music room
